Part 4

ok, ok, i get the idea -- although i don't know much about 'the lost world' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, i think i can contribute a 4th part to the story. here it goes...

"Well, obviously I'm not the sort of person who would be so crazy as to talk such nonsense," snapped Holmes as he looked across at Grayson. The Chief Inspector's eyes didn't waver from Holmes' dark glare.

"What I am trying to say is that there could be no such thing as time travelling -- unless..." Grayson's voice trailed off quite quickly. It took some time before both of them realized that the good Inspector Lestrade was in BIG trouble. Grayson took his ionizer and motioned to Holmes with a warm gesture.

"Holmes, go and get Watson and let's find Lestrade before something happens to her," was the airy order to Holmes. Nodding soundly to himself, the Victorian detective left the office at the same time as the Chief Inspector, who had no time for messing around the office for a missing inspector.

Lestrade wasn't going to be the 'damsel in distress' sort of person. As her friends know her, she wasn't the type that would cry over little things. Well, sort of. [Whaddya mean, sort of? It's either YES or NO, you fool!- Ed (Well, whatever...WN)]

"Okay, what now?" Lestrade rephrased her question, believing that the man is not responding to her. The man blinked at her the second time, as if she was speaking in a different dialect.

"Okay, let me rephase the question again: WHAT NOW?" she snapped and thanks to Lestrade's yelling, the so-called homo sapiens was advancing towards them, now in rampaging mode. Lestrade rolled her eyes; this was not going to be her lucky day....

WN- that's the fourth, i think- perhaps there's something to think about. Hope you can make this a good one in chapter five. C'ya!
