Myths and Legends Filk

Updated December 29, 2003

Filk based on legends, myths, and folklore. This category includes mythical beasts and creatures, as well as legendary heroes. I have striven to be inclusive here, mostly because filkers traditionally draw on any piece of fantasy music which seems congenial to their tradition, no matter its original musical genre. I would like to include more stuff from bluegrass and other genres less familiar to filkers than folk, Celtic, rock, or classical; suggestions are hereby solicited.

Filks which I feel are more religious than legendary in nature can be found over on the Religion Filk page.
